Our Ideology
Humanity as a religion
We strive to propagate love and peace in the society at large. We believe that this can be achieved by mutual trust and respect towards one another’s faith. Exhibiting tolerance, kindness and mutual understanding is the core of our belief.
We draw inspiration from Imam Hussain, the grandson of Prophet Mohammed. Time and again, he has proven to humanity that we shouldn’t bend our will to injustice and stay strong to our morals in hard times. These qualities were courageously portrayed by Imam Hussain on the 10th day of Muharram, 680 A.D. in Karbala.
He made the ultimate sacrifice for social justice, truth and dignity in the face of corruption and tyranny, exhibited by the ruler Yazid. Imam Hussain (A.S.) stood by his principles till the very end, and his legacy continues to inspire millions of people around the world.
Each year we organise the Hussain Day convention and bring all the leaders from all faiths under one roof — irrespective of caste, creed or colour — to spread the message of Imam Hussain. His message stands for humanity as a religion. It is a call for the brotherhood of mankind, peace and harmony.
In his own words
“Indeed, I have not risen up to do mischief, neither as an adventurer, nor to cause corruption and tyranny. I have risen up solely to seek the reform of the Ummah of my Grandfather. I want to command what is good and stop what is wrong.”

What the world said
A legacy that crossed every border
“If Hussain fought to quench his worldly desire, then I do not understand why his sisters, wives and children accompanied him. It stands to reason therefore that he sacrificed purely for Islam.”
“The best lesson which we get from the tragedy of Karbala is that Hussain and his companions were the rigid believers of God. They illustrated that numerical superiority does not count when it comes to truth and falsehood. The victory of Hussain despite his minority marvels me!”
“In a distant age and climate the tragic scene of the death of Hussain will awaken the sympathy of the coldest reader.”
“One of the significant facts of history is the great and abiding influence of the tragedy of Karbala on the human world. And it is well that we remember this and take inspiration from it.”
“I have studied the life of Imam Hussain (A.S.). I have pondered over the pages of history of Islam and it has dawned upon me that, if ever India desires to be a successful country, she should follow the principles of Imam Hussain (A.S.). I learnt from Hussain (A.S.) how to achieve victory while being oppressed.”
